What brought you to do this work – your why / your values?
My love for helping people is the reason why I do the work that I do. Ironside Tax Services isn’t just a business — it’s my way of showing up for others when they need expertise, clarity, and someone they can trust. I’ve taken my skills accounting and tax strategy and turned them into a resource that brings peace of mind to those navigating real challenges or want to start truly chasing their dream. There’s no better feeling than seeing a client’s entire demeanor shift — from stressed and uncertain to calm and confident — after we’ve resolved something that had been weighing them down. That moment means more to me than any achievement I ever had in corporate America. It’s proof that the work matters — not just on paper, but in people’s lives. This is more than just numbers and strategy. It’s about giving people the freedom to breathe easier and make decisions without fear. That’s the kind of impact I live for.

What professional experiences help you thrive in your work with NSIA?
The years I spent doing Finacial Due Diligence in Chicago for PwC. I feel as if my technical expertise grew the most during this time. The process of studying for the CPA exam. I feel as if my knowledge of Accounting, Tax, Finance, and reporting compliance grew exponentially during this time. Outside of professional experience my time volunteering with the big brother and big sisters of Flint, Michigan has helped me thrive at NSIA because it helped me realize just how many of our young men need a strong example and mentor to follow. Which has motivated me to always deliver the best product I can.
