Founder & Chief Investment Officer

Victoria Olayide Adesanya
Victoria Olayide Adesanya is the Founder and General Partner of VOA Venture Partners, a venture firm investing in early-stage financial infrastructure companies addressing structural inefficiencies in cross-border capital flows into and out of Africa, primarily led by African diaspora founders globally.
With approximately 15 years of experience across global capital markets, she brings institutional expertise to advancing Africa’s financial systems. Victoria’s experience includes advising leading global investment banks, including Morgan Stanley and MUFG, on strategy and data analytics, and serving as a Vice President in Cross-Asset Derivatives Sales at Credit Suisse. Earlier in her career, she also worked in Private Banking at Barclays Wealth and Investment Management, where she built a strong foundation in global markets and client advisory. She draws on her lived experience as a British Nigerian based in New York City to inform her investment thesis. She invests in financial infrastructure solutions that address structural inefficiencies in cross-border capital movement, expanding access to capital and advancing financial inclusion. In addition to her role at VOA Venture Partners, Victoria is an active angel investor, venture partner, and advisor to early-stage companies. Through her consultancy, VOA Partners, she supports founders in refining strategy and navigating growth.
Victoria holds a First Class degree from the University of Nottingham and is a CFA charterholder. Outside of work, Victoria enjoys travel, yoga, meditation, reading, and exploring new restaurants.
Sudha Bharadia
Sudha Bharadia is the Founder and CEO of Impact Cap, a capital raising firm focused on mobilising capital toward impact-driven investment opportunities and supporting asset managers and investors in aligning financial performance with meaningful social and environmental outcomes. She works closely with mission-led and diverse investment firms to strengthen capital formation strategies, enhance institutional positioning, and scale with purpose. Sudha brings over 20 years of experience across investment management, capital formation, and strategic communications. She has raised more than $200 million across private credit and impact strategies, working with institutional investors, family offices, foundations, and development finance institutions. Her expertise lies in bridging institutional capital with underserved markets, with a particular focus on inclusive finance, gender lens investing, and impact-led growth.
Previously, Sudha served as Co-CEO of a global, FCA-regulated impact investment manager. During her tenure, she played a central role in driving the firm’s growth, institutionalisation, and long-term strategy, while maintaining a strong commitment to impact integrity. She also led global capital formation, investor relations, and brand strategy, significantly enhancing the firm’s credibility with international investors.
Alongside her executive career, Sudha is deeply engaged in the nonprofit and social finance ecosystem. She serves as a Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Investment Committee at Powering Communities CIC, supporting community-led regeneration and local investment strategies. She is also Co-Chair of Women in Social Finance, a global network advancing the leadership and influence of women in the sector, and serves on the boards of organisations focused on environmental and community impact. Sudha is recognised for her ability to combine commercial rigour with a values-led approach, helping organisations translate complex investment strategies into compelling narratives while maintaining strong governance and stakeholder alignment. She holds a BA (Hons) in Business Studies and an MBA.
Lolita Nunn
Lolita Nunn is a mission-driven leader advancing positive social, economic, and environmental systems change across finance, philanthropy, and food systems. She brings more than 25 years of progressive and transformational experience spanning the nonprofit and corporate sectors, with a career rooted in mobilizing capital, community, and equity.She spent 14 years in the banking industry, where she developed deep expertise in finance, management, and investment banking. Driven by a desire to apply these skills in the service of others and community well-being, Lolita transitioned into the nonprofit sector, working within the health and humanitarian organizations at the American Red Cross and the American Cancer Society. Here, she supported community resilience efforts, disaster response, and public health initiatives, further grounding her commitments to support people-centered outcomes.
Lolita’s work in food systems is anchored by her deep commitment to food sovereignty and equitable access. She is a founding coalition member of the Washtenaw Black Farmers Fund, where she helped lead community-driven efforts to shift capital and resources to marginalized farmers. In addition to her roles at Potlikker Capital and the Fair Food Fund, where whe lead the fundraising efforts that increased the organization’s reach and brand recognition nationally.
In her current role as Director, Unlock Ownership at Impact Charitable, Lolita leads the investor relations and fund development efforts to bridge the financial gap to increase asset ownership and household wealth for underinvested people and communities. This work reinforces her belief that equitable systems require both community leadership and structural change to steward how wealth-building resources flow.
Lolita currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Sustainable Agriculture Food Systems Funders (SAFSF) and on advisory committees for Transformational Investing in Food Systems (TIFS), Rende Progress Capital, and Nubian Capital Providers. Her broader community service includes volunteer efforts focused on supporting at-risk youth, advancing financial literacy, and promoting women’s empowerment.
Lolita received her MBA from Eastern Michigan University and remains deeply committed to building equitable, resilient communities.
Angela Outlaw-Matheny
Angela Outlaw-Matheny is a respected leader in the investment and asset management space, known for her pioneering work in asset management. As a seasoned professional with over 30 years of extensive experience in investment management, development and commercialization of investment strategies, philanthropic platforms, and organizational frameworks that bridge fiduciary responsibility with social justice and racial equity goals. Her career is marked by a deep commitment to advancing access to capital processes and plans for diverse asset managers and founders that improve portfolio outcomes, achieved through strategic leadership, collaborative team building, and a relentless focus on execution and capital allocation exposure.
At Crewcial Partners, Angela played a key role in shaping sourcing efforts, the overall strategic imperative to build an inclusive research process which helped to deliver best in class investment outcomes as Director of Investment Staff and Diverse Manager Equity. This role included oversight and shaping portfolio exposure that prioritizes both financial sustainability, equitable access and opportunity. Alongside Crewcial’s Chief Investment Officer and Chief Human Resources Officer, Angela also led hiring, compensation, training and development of analysts on the investment research team and influenced outcomes in due diligence process for diverse asset managers. Her work centers on ensuring that institutional capital is directed toward investment managers and strategies that broaden access, amplify diverse voices, and strengthen communities.
Angela’s impact extends far beyond investment management. She serves on nonprofit boards and grant distribution committees, where she brings her expertise to guide funding decisions that drive meaningful change. In these roles, she emphasizes the importance of embedding racial equity into organizational policies, programs, and decision-making frameworks, helping institutions align their philanthropic and financial resources with their strategic developmental goals.
Throughout her career, Angela has distinguished herself as a bridge-builder between fiduciary responsibility and transformative equity and social impact. She is deeply committed to advancing the role of finance as a tool for dismantling systemic inequities and fostering sustainable organizational growth.
Matthew J. Illian
Matthew J. Illian Advisory Board Member, (18 years of experience), is the Director of Responsible Investing at United Church Funds (UCF), where he leads the organization’s stewardship activities including corporate engagements, proxy voting and staff’s UCF’s Sustainable and Responsible Investing Committee. Matthew also supports the investment team with oversight of UCF’s external portfolio managers to ensure all investments are aligned in seeking a just and sustainable world for all. He brings extensive experience working with philanthropic organizations and values-based investors to design strategies that achieve both financial performance and mission-aligned impact. Prior to joining UCF in 2020, Matthew served as executive Director of the Virginia Impact Investing Forum, where he fostered collaboration among CDFIs and philanthropic foundations. Earlier in his career, he spent nine years as a Senior Wealth Manager at Marotta Wealth Management, where he advised individuals and families on personal financial planning and capital markets strategy. Matthew earned his Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Government from the University of Virginia and his Master’s in Finance from the Johns Hopkins University Carey Business School; he is a CFP ® professional.
Thomas Lloyd III
Thomas Lloyd III, 14 years experience, is a purpose-driven business leader with extensive experience in operations management, customer experience strategy, and organizational process improvement. His career spans several Fortune 100 organizations across multiple industries, including consumer goods, technology, insurance, and global banking. Throughout his professional journey, Thomas has developed a reputation for helping organizations strengthen operational performance while building service cultures that elevate both customer and employee experiences. With more than a decade of leadership experience in operations and service delivery, Thomas has focused his career on improving efficiency, optimizing processes, and designing scalable systems that enable organizations to grow while maintaining exceptional service standards. His leadership approach centers on aligning people, process, and technology to create environments where teams perform at their highest level and customers consistently receive meaningful, high-quality experiences. Thomas began his professional career at PepsiCo, where he was selected to participate in the company’s Management Development Program. This early experience provided him with foundational training in operations leadership, customer-focused business management, and organizational development within a global enterprise environment. He later joined Call Box, a technology company based in Dallas, Texas, where he led the implementation of a startup call center and helped establish operational frameworks for customer engagement and service delivery during a key growth phase. This role provided Thomas with hands-on experience building operational infrastructure from the ground up. Thomas subsequently transitioned into the financial services industry with New York Life Insurance Company, where he served in the organization’s customer service division and contributed to strengthening operational processes designed to enhance service quality and client support.Building on this foundation, Thomas continued his career in the banking sector, gaining experience with Wells Fargo and Citi. In these roles, he further developed his expertise in managing large-scale service operations, driving continuous process improvement, and navigating the complexities of customer experience within highly regulated financial institutions. Through these diverse professional experiences, Thomas has cultivated a unique cross-industry perspective on operational excellence, customer engagement, and organizational performance. His work consistently focuses on helping organizations improve service delivery, streamline processes, and build cultures that prioritize both people and performance.Thomas holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and Management from Fordham University Gabelli School of Business and earned his MBA in Management from the University of Dallas Satish & Yasmin Gupta College of Business. Thomas continued to further his education by completing an Executive Education course focused on Leadership Communication Strategies at Texas McCombs School of Business and earned a Lean Six Sigma certificate at Southern Methodist University.
